KASEY, Nancy S., 68, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015, after a short illness. She was a native of Louisville, Kentucky, where she raised her family and resided her whole life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roberta Freda and Stephen B. Kasey and her brother, Stephen B. Kasey, Jr.

She is survived by her son, Kent Allen and his daughter, Nicole; son, Brian Allen, his wife, Denise, and their children, Sean and Stephen; brother, William Kasey; and a sister-in-law, Dottie Kasey.

Nancy worked for the Kentucky Department of Labor, Special Fund, for six years, followed by a successful and rewarding 35 year career at the law firm, Middleton Reutlinger, where she was the office administrator for over 27 years, retiring in December 2013.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going to Florida with friends and cheering on her beloved UofL Cardinals.

The family wishes to especially thank her dear friends, Donna Dornfeld and Patsy Bourke for all their support and love during Nancy’s illness.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 5-8pm at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, Kentucky. Private family graveside service Friday, April 24, 2015.
