Obituary for Philip Parks

PARKS, Philip Ian, 14, of Louisville, passed away April 13, 2016.
Philip was a member of the Reformed Baptist Church of Louisville, a faithful servant of Jesus Christ, very loving son, giving and kind brother, cousin and friend, gifted artist, intellectually curious, and champion to the underdog (two footed and four footed alike).
He is survived by his mother, Lydia Jeanette (Bevin) Parks; father, Kenneth S. Parks; brothers, Nathaniel, Benjamin and Ian Parks; grandparents, Avery and Louise Bevin and Lily Parks; great-grandmother, Lorriane Bevin; and extended family and friends.
Philip’s funeral service will be at 3 pm Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Southeast Christian Church, 920 Blankenbaker Parkway. Burial will be private. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Saturday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
