One of the things we've always encouraged in our ministry is to be MORE concerned about the friends we have as parents, than the friends our kids actually have. Our parents did that well! Doug and Mary were such a Christian example for us to follow, never tiring of serving. Always there with a joyful heart. I'll miss "Little Mary". Maybe she and "Vendell Wick" are having a grand old time, as they wait for us to join them in our eternal home.
