Obituary for Judith Shadowens

SHADOWENS, JUDITH ANNE, 64, of Louisville, passed away on October 16, 2010.
She was the former Judith Anne Humphrey, a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, a real estate agent for Gibson-Pfannenschmidt Realtors and Paul Semonin Realtors for 30-plus years. She won numerous awards throughout her years in Real Estate and was honored as Top Agent of the Year and Multi-Million Dollar Club numerous times. She was well liked and well respected in the real estate community and those she came in contact with.
Judy was preceded in death by her mother and father, Dorothy and Hobert Humphrey Sr.; three brothers; and one infant sister.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Eric J. Shadowens Sr.; two daughters, Sheryl Krieger (Mike) and Dana Bale (Terry); one son, Eric J. Shadowens Jr. (Jan); grandchildren: Michael Jr., Matthew and Kennady Krieger and Adam, Evan, Nicholas and Kate Bale; grandpets, Skeeter, Macy, Mister and Farley; and three brothers, William, Jimmy and Jackie Humphrey.
Funeral ceremony will be on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1000 N. Beckley Station Road, with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road from 1-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2010.
The family would like to thank the CBC Consultants in Blood Disorders and Cancer doctors, treatment room nurses and office staff. They would also like to thank the nurses and staff at Baptist East Hospital Park Tower, 3rd floor. All of these people were so caring and important to Judy during her long fight.
