Obituary for Anna R. Luckett (Pate)
Anna Raye (Pate) Luckett passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. She was 88.
A graduate of Mount Saint Joseph School, Anna worked in retail before retiring to enjoy the time she had remaining with her loving husband, Ed, before he passed away in 2013. She was a woman of faith who was devoted to raising her four sons to become loving and successful men.
Anna is preceded in death by her husband of more than 59 years, Joseph Edward “Ed” Luckett.
She is survived by her four sons, Steve Luckett (Allison), Kevin Luckett (Cathy), Glenn Luckett (Christie), and Brian Luckett (Kelly); five grandchildren, Christopher Luckett (Kelley), Jason Luckett (Stephanie), Tony Luckett (Ashley), Maggie Luckett, and Austin Luckett; three step-grandchildren, Courtney Crockett, Christian Davis, and Preston Davis; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph Pate; and two sisters, Norma Russell (Don) and Mary Eskridge (John). She is preceded in death by siblings James and Paul Pate.
Visitation will be held at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, on Monday, January 9 from 3 to 6 PM. Her funeral Mass will be held at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 2141 Lancashire Avenue, on Tuesday, January 10 at 10 AM, with burial at Calvary Cemetery following the Mass.
