Obituary for Anna May Scherzer (Bishop)
Anna May (Bishop) Scherzer, 88 of Louisville, passed away on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2024.
She graduated from Mercy Academy. Anna May was a career Title Clerk for many years as well as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, George Edward Scherzer, Sr., and her brother, Joseph Bishop.
She is survived by her children, Louis Scherzer (Mabel), Cindy Lausman (Karl), George Scherzer, Jr.,(Janet) and Chris Scherzer (Janet), 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild, her sisters, Caroline Embry, Marjorie Bolly (John) and Charlotte Stith (Dennis) and her brother, Raymond Bishop (Joan).
Visitation will be Monday, April 29th, from 4:00pm -8:00pm at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Her funeral Mass will be 10:00am Tuesday at Church of the Ascension Catholic Church, 4600 Lynnbrook Drive, Louisville KY, 40220 with burial to follow at St. Michael Cemetery.
