Arline (Fante) Nold, 80, of Louisville, KY entered into Eternal Life peacefully on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Nazareth Home, with her family by her side.
She was born in Louisville, and spent her entire life there. She attended St. Elizabeth of Hungary grade school and graduated from duPont Manual High School, class of 1956. She devoted her life to her family. She will be remembered for her witty personality, her infectious laugh, her beautiful smile, and her home-cooked meals. She loved spending time with her family and going to Lake Cumberland. She met the love of her life, Bob, at age 14, and the two were married for 59 years.
Arline was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Bertha Fante; her siblings, Estelle Howell, Lamar Fante, Doris Markwell, Ray Fante, Bill Fante; and her, granddaughter, Alex Lyons.
She is survived by her loving husband, Dr. Robert L. Nold; her children, Susan Fink (Tony), Bob Nold, Jr. (Roxanne Fixsen), Leigh Ann Rayome (Rick), Krista Lyons (Jeff); her grandchildren, Anthony, Kelly, and Kaitlyn Fink, Amanda Nold, Allison Marshall (Joseph), and Christian Nold, Ricky, Sean (Chelcey Tate), and Jessica Rayome, and Morgan Lyons; three great grandchildren, Zayden and Silas Marshall and Emerson Rayome; and her sister, Janice Lewis. She will be greatly missed by all.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 21, 2018 at St. Francis of Assisi, 1960 Bardstown Rd., with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will Thursday, from 2-8 p.m. at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, KY.
