Obituary for Arthur G. Jacob
Arthur G. Jacob, 90, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 23, 2021.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Clara Denise, his granddaughter, Ashley Diana, his siblings, Rosie, Waded, George and Albert and his parents, Jacob George and Naha.
Art cherished his family, his loving wife of 68 years, Clara; sons, Greg (Janice), Jeff (Pam), Scott (Sandra), Mark (Jean) and John (Dawn); a proud grandfather of 22 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was a pharmacist for 60 years, and owned and operated his own pharmacy for over 40 years. He also helped shape the pharmacy profession by serving on organizations on the local, state, and national level. He was also a longtime member of St. Raphael the Archangel parish.
His funeral service will be 10:30 am on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd., Louisville, followed by interment in Cave Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 pm on Tuesday, June 29.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus Health of Louisville.
