Obituary for Barbara Hill Vogel (Chandler)
Barbara Hill Vogel, 80, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022, in the arms of her daughter, and in the company of Goddaughter Denise Cullen.
Barbara was a retired teacher of the Archdiocese of Louisville. She volunteered for Hospice for 30+ years and above all else, was the best Mother anyone could hope for.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Hill in 1987 and by her second husband, William Vogel, in 2018.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Christy Decker (Tony), Goddaughter, Denise Cullen (Phil), children-in-marriage, David Vogel (JPat), Lori Vogel and grandchildren, David (Courtney) , Alyssa, James (Crystal), Hannah and Alura.
The family welcomes guests for visitation from 2pm - 7pm at Highlands Funeral Home (3331 Taylorsville Rd) on Wednesday, July 13, 2022.
A service to celebrate Barbara’s life will take place at 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
