Condolence From: Diane Hazellief
Condolence: I'm so sorry. Although I didn't know Ben well, he was a part of my family for the last 4 or 5 years. My daughter spent a good part of her time over those years tending him and loving him like a grandfather. Her biggest regret was not keeping her promise to Ben that she would stay with him until the end. Circumstances beyond her control prevented her from keeping her promise. He came to our home for Easter dinner one year, and fit in with my family like he belonged there. I regret his passing, but know that he had a good life, and many devoted friends.
