Obituary for Billie Rose Johnson (Johnson)
Billie Rose Johnson, age 91 years and 11 months, died February 28, 2022. Billie graduated from Shawnee High School in the class of 1947 ½. She was a retired railroad clerk, having worked 38 years for the Illinois Central Railroad and the Paducah and Louisville Railroad. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church for over 50 yearsand was an Ordained/Honor deacon.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents, William Johnson and Rose Crowe Johnson. She is survived by four cousins, Linda Swan Wieland, Donald Swan, Scott Swan (wife Della) and Mike Swan (wife Kelly).
The family wishes to express our deepest gratitude to the staffs of Treyton Oak Towers and Hosparus Health Louisville for their excellent care. Visitation will be from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Tuesday March 8, 2022, at Highland Baptist Church, with the funeral to follow at 1:30pm.
