Bonnie Faye Stewart, 83, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at the Willows at Springhurst, and was a resident of Franciscan Health Care Center in Louisville. Prior to that, she and her husband had been long-time residents of Eastview, Kentucky since 2004. There, they were beloved members of Smith Chapel United Methodist Church and were involved in many aspects of their church community.
Bonnie was born in Louisville, Kentucky to Earl Kopp and Atalia (Broyles) Kopp. In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Robert Stewart, a son, Gerald Stewart, a daughter, Mary Stewart, and her two sisters, Jessie (Kopp) Riebel, and Edith (Kopp) Eve Riesenberg,
She is survived by three children: Robin Ernst (Melvin) of Louisville, Brenda Patton (Timothy) of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, and James Stewart of Louisville; 21 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many other extended family members.

Bonnie was a Licensed Practical Nurse graduating from Jefferson County School of Practical Nursing in 1971. Other than working with several hospitals in the Louisville area, her niche was working with elderly patients, and children. Her favorite hobbies were reading, sewing, ceramics and hand stitching and creating a multitude of specialty crafts including but not limited to Christmas stockings, ornaments, scrap books, dolls, and much more. All her special-made crafts always seemed to fit the receiver just-right, and they all contained that one special element of being made with her love.
