Brenda Fenimore Clark
Louisville - 46,of Louisville,passed away after a courageous battle with ALS on Thursday, July 5. Brenda was an alumni of Sacred Heart Academy, and received her BS from Western Kentucky University where she was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi and an Alpha Gamma Rho "Little Sister". She received her master's degree from the Kent School of Social Work at the University of Louisville. Brenda worked as a social worker for 22 years with the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services. Throughout her life she maintained a direct and simple demeanor that won over the hearts of many. She had a beautiful smile and an entertaining sense of humor. Brenda was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her husband, Cary L. Clark Jr.; children, Sarah and Trey Clark; parents, Clarke and Alberta Fenimore; sisters, Debbie Franklin (Steve) and Denise Brown (Stephen); mother and father in-law, Diane and Cary Clark Sr.; brother in-laws, Chris (Kristen), Jeff (Brittne), and Nick (Rebecca) Clark; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts,uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be Monday, July 9 from 2:00 - 8:00 PM at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, KY. 40204
Her funeral mass will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 10 at St. Albert The Great Catholic Parish, 1395 Girard Drive, Louisville, KY. 40222; with a chapel entombment in Evergreen Cemetery.
The Clark & Fenimore families would like to graciously thank all of "Team Brenda" and the many volunteers for their time, talent, love, unfailing commitment and support during this difficult time.
