Obituary for Bridget Anne Furlong
On Friday, March 26th, 2021, Bridget Anne Furlong, loving daughter and sister, passed away suddenly at home.
Bridget was born on April 15, 1997 to William E. Furlong, Jr. and Elizabeth H. Furlong. Bridget was a talented esthetician who was passionate about making people feel beautiful, but her care for others was so much more than skin deep. Bridget loved fiercely and entirely. Her determination to help, support, and selflessly give to those who needed it the most defined her remarkable character. To those of us lucky enough to fall under her light, we will be forever changed for the better.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Virginia H. Oliva.
Bridget is survived by her parents, Elizabeth and William; her sisters, Emily Furlong and Erin Vasquez (Juan); grandparents, William E. Sr. and Mary Catherine Furlong, and Joseph Oliva; her nephew, Milo Vazquez, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will always remember her kindness, dry humor, and stunning smile.
Funeral Mass will be at 9:30am on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church, 1104 S. 6th Street. Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00pm on Tuesday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
