Obituary for Bruce Fraser

Bruce Fraser, 81, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away December 21st, 2022, after a brave battle with cancer.

Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, he managed his illness with humor and strength, and wanted to spend as much time as possible with his loved ones. On his final day, he was surrounded by his family, whom he adored more than anything else in the world.

Born and raised in New York, he was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Bertha Fraser, and leaves behind his loving wife, the former Janice Nevitt; children, Dana Fraser Banks, David Fraser (Kristen) and Christian Fraser; and his grandchildren whom he adored: Dillon Banks, Dallas Banks, Sheridan Banks, Madison Fraser, McKenzie Fraser, Chase Fraser, Gavin Fraser and Grace Fraser.

He led an incredibly active lifestyle which included golf, running, skiing, biking and hiking. He also had a great love of his dogs and travel, and travel the world he did. Those memories brought him great joy, especially these last few months.

To know him was to love him. He had a great ability to make others smile, and his sense of humor will be missed.

Visitation will be held at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, Kentucky, on Wednesday, December 28th, from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm, with his funeral service immediately following at 4:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to GRRAND (grrand.org), an organization Bruce felt strongly about because of his great love for his dogs.
