Obituary for Byron W. "Pete" Hoskinson

HOSKINSON, Byron W. "Pete", 88, of Louisville, KY, passed away at home on Sunday, March 4, 2018. Pete retired from Zimmer-McClaskey-Lewis/McCann-Erickson Advertising Agency as VP of Print Production. He also served in the Kentucky Army National Guard for 12 years, was a founding member of St. Martha Catholic Parish, served as VP of Buechel Little League for many years and was a member of the Termites Club. His greatest passion, and legacy to his family, was building “Pete’s Place” on Nolin Lake, and spending time there with family and friends.
Pete is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Nancy (Yunt) Hoskinson, and their 5 children: Bill (Janene), Laurie Mayer (Kenny), Leslie Corrigan (Alan), Tim (Anne), and Greg (Denise). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren: Byron, Daniel, Julia, Anna (Cory), Eddie (Amanda Jo), Tony (Molly), Natalie (Jordan), Michael, Noah, Jacob, Tommy, and Callie, as well as 2 great-grandchildren, Shawn and Chloe.
Visitation will be from 2 - 8 pm on Thursday, March 8, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. His funeral Mass will be on Friday, March 9, at 10 am, at St. Martha Catholic Church, 2825 Klondike Lane, with burial at Calvary Cemetery.
