Obituary for Carroll Thomas "Tom" Grimes
Carroll Thomas “Tom” Grimes, 90, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021.
Tom graduated from Louisville Male High School and Trinity University. He was an Air Force Veteran, an amateur track and field enthusiast and retired from the City of Louisville Housing Authority.
Tom was preceded in death by his loving wife Betty and his mother Gladys Crutcher.
He is survived by sons Thomas Grimes (Shannon) and Richard Grimes (Angie); Grandchildren Kaela, Abigail and Sophia; Brother-in-Law, Bill Luesing (Carolyn), Sister-in-Law, Janet Luesing; 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
His memorial service will be at 10am Monday, January 11, 2021 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00-3:00pm Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Highlands.
