Charles Michael Bovinet,78 of Louisville was born on March 16,1940 and passed away on October 1, 2018
He was a retired machinist for Eaton Shuler Axle where he worked for twenty-four and a half years. His hobbies included watching his Kentucky Wildcats, and talking and listening to people! He truly loved people, and had the most contagious smile.
Charles is proceeded in death by his parents, Jennings and Mary Bovinet; brothers, Bobby and Donald Lee; and most recently his wife of fifty-five years, Betty Jean Bovinet "Hickman".
He is survived by his daughter, Toni Davidson; son-in-law, Phil; grandchildren, Lindsey(Aaron), Todd, and Maddie Jean; two great granddaughters, Ava and Brynn; and many friends who were like family to Charlie.
Memorial visitation will be Sunday, October, 7 from 2:00 - 7:00 pm. followed by a service at 7:00 pm. at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, KY. 40205.
A special meeting will take place in his honor on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 1:00 pm. at Ice House.
In lieu of flowers a donation to Token Club 3 or Ice House would be deeply appreciated by Charlie and his family.
