Obituary for Claudia G. Grady (Coleman)
Claudia G. Grady, age 89, of Louisville, Kentucky went home to her Heavenly Father on 2/14/2022.
Claudia was born in Pikeville, Kentucky on April 25, 1932 to the late James and Rosie Coleman.
After graduation from Pikeville College, Claudia entered into a successful career in education. She shared both her knowledge and love of life to her students for decades, retiring from the Jefferson County Public System.
An avid square dancer, Claudia and her late husband, William (Bill) Grady, created many happy and love-filled memories throughout their lasting time together. The laughter they shared with one another left no doubt the tenderness and care they truly shared for each other.
Known as “Ta-Ta” to her many loving and devoted nieces and nephews, it was obvious when talking, that they all held their own close memories from time spent with her. Claudia leaves an indelible mark on all she knew and loved.
She was preceded in passing by her sister and brothers, Mary, Ira Lee, Ransom, George, Jimper, and Lawrence Coleman. Claudia now rests in the Loving Presence of Jesus Christ and her family.
There will be a 10:00 a.m. prayer service at the gravesite on Wednesday, February 10th, 2022, at Calvary Cemetery,1600 Newburg Road, Louisville, KY 40205,
There will be a gathering to celebrate Claudia Grady’s life in the future.
