Colleen Russell Biddle, 55, died peacefully at her home November 22, with her husband by her side.
A registered dietitian, she worked at many local hospitals including Audubon, Jewish and most recently as Food Service Director at Central State Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J. Elliott and Condon Baron Russell, and her mother in law, Donna Biddle.
Colleen is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, John Hall Biddle, and her sons J. Russell Biddle and Gregory H. Biddle (Shelby). Also surviving are siblings Shannon M. Russell of Arlington, VA; Mary Condon Raidt, and Kelly C. Russell (Debbie); sisters in law Deborah Benvie of Ft Myers, Fl, Cindy Portmann (Rik) of Clearwater, Fl, Julie Baker (Mike) of Mason, Oh. and father in law Frank Biddle (Sandie) of Cincinnati. Survivors also include many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be Friday, November 30 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road from 2-8 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Saturday, December 1 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 212 Mt. Mercy Drive, Pewee Valley, with burial at Calvary Cemetery.
Donations in Colleen’s name may be made to The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation or the J Graham Brown Cancer Center.
