Colleen had a huge heart and strong will to help and care for anyone in need. She was a generational nurse following in her mothers footsteps and passing that love of nursing down to her daughter, Megan. Colleen attended Sacred Heart Academy, graduating in 1973. She went on to attend nursing school where she received her LPN degree, and continued to work in the healthcare field for many years, retiring in 2022. She was an avid Softball player in her younger years where she made life long friends. Colleen belonged to the Ancient Order of Ladies Hibernians and was passionate in helping others, as well she was an activist for women’s rights.
She was a wonderful and strong mother to Jason and Megan Brewer, and a loving and amazing Nana to her three beautiful grandchildren (Vivienne, Xavier and Hudson). Colleen spent most of her time with family and her close friends. She enjoyed annual girls' trips, a trip to Ireland, and a journey out west to Yellowstone and Yosemite National Park.
