Shaw, Conel E., 91, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2010.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran, a 44 year employee of L&N Railroad, a member of LaFolllette Masonic Lodge # 623, Scottish rite, Kosair Shrines and Ninth & O Baptist Church.
Conel was preceded in death by his wife, Katie Weaver Shaw; brothers, Louis, Otis, J.H., Eugene and Kenneth Shaw; sisters, Dorothy May and infant sister, Cleta Shaw.
He is survived by his sons, Gary C. Shaw (Martha R.)and Wayne L.. Shaw (Mary), sisters, Mickey Collins(Charles), Elsie Shelly and Alma Cordova, grandchildren, Heather Leslie, Wayne Shaw, Sue Ann Shaw and Gay Ford; great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Trey, Eliza, Landon, Jordon, Sarah, Samantha, Cameron, Maris and Eden and friend, Ruth Stittums.
His funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 3, 2010 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with burial in Resthaven Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3:00 -7:00p.m.Thursday at Highlands.
