Louisville - Davis E. Taurman Jr. Aug. 17 1927- Dec. 16 2020.
He passed away peacefully at the age of 93 under the care of Baptist Palliative Care. The doctors, nurses and staff were wonderful. Many thanks.
He was a USMC WWII Veteran. After serving he went to work at the Courier Journal and Louisville Times. He retired in 1987 after 40 years then went on to have a antique and collectibles business.
He was preceded in death by his parents
Davis Taurman and Nora Howard, Elsie (Sister), Donald (Brother), Shirley Cox (sister), Kenneth (brother) and his loving wife of 65 years Betty L. Taurman.
He is survived by his son Mark S. Taurman and the daughter he never had that he loved like his own child, Susan Johns.
He was a Mason and member of Highland Park Masonic Lodge 865 and The American Legion. He was loved by all he met, God bless him.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Contributions may be made to Baptist Hosparus or Home of the Innocents.
