Obituary for Dolores Catherine Lally (Birchler)
LALLY, Dolores (Birchler), 92, of Louisville, died Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at her home.
She was born in Louisville, and a graduate of Presentation Academy, class of 1945, and the old Nazareth College, class of 1949. She was a member of the Naz Club and a founding member of St. Raphael Catholic Church.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Catherine Birchler; and her brother, Donald Birchler.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Frank Edward “Bud” Lally; children, Mary Kevin Stemmle (Bill), Kathleen Towsley, Brigid Blocker (Joe), Patrick J. Lally (Rebecca), Maura Hazard (Ray), Maggie Lally, and Michael J. Lally (fiancee’, Amber); 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 30th, 2021, at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 2131 Lancashire Road, Louisville, Kentucky, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Monday, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, Kentucky.
