Obituary for Donald Frank "Don" Schneiter
Donald Frank” Don” Schneiter, 93 of Louisville, passed away on Saturday, December 30th, 2023.
Don was the former owner of Bonnycastle Hardware for many years. He was a US Army Veteran and served during the Korean Conflict. When he returned home he began his career with his father at Bonnycastle Hardware.
Don was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Mary Dean (Riggs) Schneiter and his parents, Walter and Elizabeth Schneiter.
He is survived by his children, Donna Schneiter, Stephen Addison Schneiter (Maxie) and Anne Schneiter (Matthew Parker) and one granddaughter, Elizabeth Pauline Schneiter.
Memorial Visitation will be Saturday, January 6th from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to American Cancer Society or Hosparus of Louisville.
The family wishes to give thanks to Caring Excellence Caregivers, Paul, Mike, Patrick and George and Hosparus of Louisville.
