Obituary for Doris BLAND
BLAND, DORIS W., 75, passed away Friday, January 29, 2010.
Born in Pikeville, KY, she was the former Doris Williamson.
Doris served as a WAAC in the U.S. military and retired from University of Louisville Hospital where she was a registered nurse.
She is survived by a son, Sgt. Jim Bland (Leigh); daughters, Rebecca Karin Foster (Tim) and Kathy Bland; three grandchildren, Laura, Emily and Jim Bland.
Her funeral service will be 5 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service Saturday, at Highlands.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Kidney Foundation .
