Dorothy Cox McCrocklin passed away peacefully on August 22, 2018. She was 96 years old and the daughter of William and Martha Cox. Her dear husband of 53 years, George W. McCrocklin, M.D., predeceased her. It was her wish upon leaving human life to express love, praise, and glory to her risen Lord.
Dorothy was graduated from the University of Louisville with a degree in art history. She was a shining light in the lives of all who knew her. The day before her death, Dorothy celebrated having lived in her home on the skilled nursing floor at Treyton Oak Towers for the previous seven years where she was able to continue her lifelong interest in art and music. Dorothy frequently expressed how thankful she was for the staff at Treyton Oak Towers and how they truly felt like her extended family. She was grateful for the love and kindness in her life.
