Obituary for Dorothy ROTH

ROTH, DOROTHY LOUISE 93, a native of Louisville, died peacefully Thursday, March 4, 2010 surrounded by her loving family in Lebanon, OH.
Born January 1, 1917 to Herman and Tillie Roth.
She was a retired auditor for the City of Louisville, a lifelong Democrat and member of the Democratic Women's Club, a devout Roman Catholic and a lover of Churchill Downs and bridge.
Preceded in death by her sisters, Verna Lee Roth, Virginia Morris, Thelma Jones; and her brothers, Leland Roth, Buddy Roth and Carroll Roth.
She is survived by her loving and devoted nieces, Sherry (Roth) Dumstorf of Jeffersonville, IN (Kevin, Ray and Becky Warren), Kathy (Morris) VanCleve of Cornelius, NC (Derek and Darren), Paula Jeanne (Morris) Mulloy, of Columbus, IN (Chris and Matt), Linda (Morris) Thompson, of Columbus, IN (Erin, Lauren and C.C.) and Donna (Roth) Cox and husband Tom, of Lebanon, OH (Rachel, Elizabeth, Jessica, Justine and Anthony). She was preceded in death by niece, Garnett Terry, survived by husband Carl of Louisville (Butch, Verna Lee and Carolyn).
Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. Mass of Resurrection will be at 11a.m. Monday, March 8, 2010 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church 3042 Hikes Lane. Burial is at St. Michael's Cemetery.
