SMITH, Dorothy “Dot”, 84, of Louisville, died on Saturday, July 9 at Baptist Hospital East. She was a homemaker, a member of the Lions Club, Eastern Star, and Zachary Taylor Post #180. The former Dorothy Flint is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Robert L. Smith; parents, Robert and Stella Flint; and her son Gerald Smith. She is survived by her four children, Lawrence (Beth), Steven (Valerie), Gregory (Melinda), and Linda Wallin (Jack); 8 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. Dorothy’s funeral service will be at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 12, at First Christian Church, 7700 US Highway 42. Visitation will be from 11 a.m., until time of service, also at the church, with burial following at Cave Hill Cemetery.
