THOMPSON, DOROTHY R., 84, of Louisville, passed away Monday, December 13, 2010 at Jefferson Manor.
She was self-employed as a contract bus driver and a member of Church of the Epiphany.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Milburn Thompson.
Her survivors include her sons, Milburn (Mary Ann), Kevin (Kathleen) and Bart (Kathy) Thompson; a daughter, Angel Smedley (Bob); grandchildren, Kristin Stevenson, Kara Beth Thompson, Kacey Frazier, Ryan Clark, Jenna Thompson, Gabby and Clay Smedley; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be held Friday, December 17, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Church of the Epiphany, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West following service. Visitation will be from 1-4 and 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to go to the Alzheimer's Association , 6100 Dutchmans Lane, Suite 401, Louisville, KY 40205.
