WADE, ELDORA "DOTY," 90, of Louisville, died Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Twinbrook Nursing Home.
Born in Valley View, KY, she was a homemaker, past Matron of the Order of Eastern Star Crescent Hill Chapter # 265, and a member of Buechel Woman's Club and St Paul United Methodist Church. She was active in various service organizations throughout her life. She was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed arts and crafts.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman L. Wade Sr.
She is survived by two daughters, Cathy Wade Leist (Edward) and Janice L. Wade; son, N. Lee Wade (Sherry); and grandchildren, Amy (Zach), Nicole, Cody, Stella, Courtney, Redmon, Bressler and Kellan.
Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at St Paul UMC, 2000 Douglass Blvd., with burial in Bagdad (KY) Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
