Ellen Maria Walker, 88, passed away December 9, 2019 at Nazareth Home. She was born March 29, 1931 to the late Felix and Sallie Fugate Campbell. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Walker; brother, Benneth "Ken" Campbell.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Ralph) Hall, grandchildren, Tiffany Hall, David Hall; sister-in-law, Judy Campbell; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and great great nieces and nephews.
Ellen was an avid gardener, reader, Professional Candle maker, and founding member of St. Pius X. When she discovered St. Pius School did not have a library, Ellen made and donated candles for the school children to sell raffle tickets in order to establish one.
Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 16, 2019 at St. Martha, 2825 Klondike Ln., Louisville, Ky 40218. Visitation will be 4-8:00 p.m., Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd., Louisville, Ky 40205.
