Obituary for Emily Virginia Spradlin (Spradlin)
Emily Spradlin, 96 of Loiusville, passed away at Treyton Oak Towers Rehab Center on Monday, December 24, 2018.
She was born February 6, 1922 to the late William David and Ola Mae Shumate Spradlin in Somerset, Kentucky. Emily retired as a Librarian from the University of Louisville. She was a member and piano player for Audubon Baptist Church.
Survivors include her cousin, Linda C. Wiese; and friend, Brenda Royalty.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Dr. Marion Carroll Spradlin (Lillie T.).
The family would like to express appreciation to the caregivers and compainion care that Emily recieved.
Funeral services will be 5:00 p.m., Friday, December 28, 2018 at Audubon Baptist Church, 1046 Hess Ln, Louisville, KY 40217. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church on Friday. Burial will be private.
