Evans T. "ET" Hunt Jr. HUNT, EVANS T. "ET" JR., 65, passed away February 5, 2010, at home, surrounded by family, after a brief, hard-fought battle against brain cancer.
Evans was retired from IBM after 32-1/2 years. After retiring he worked for Lightyear Network Solutions, LLC. for nine years, and then Louisville Orthopedic Clinic for two years. One of Evans' greatest pleasures was trains of all kinds. Evans was a kind, friendly, gentle, and thoughtful person who would do anything in the world for anyone. He always had a positive and upbeat outlook on life, and it continued even during his illness.
Evans is survived by his wife of 44 years, Linda (Augustus) Hunt, daughter, Denise Cox, son, Timothy T. Hunt, brother, William L. Hunt, grandson's Dallas Cox, and Dustin Cox, "adopted" grandchildren Cazza Jo Cox (Dallas), Mariah Moore Minor, Ryan Minor, Lindsey and Tyler Risen, and "adopted" daughter, Jennifer Risen.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, February 13, 2010 from 2-6 p.m. at the Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville.
