E.T. and I worked together so many days, sometimes into the night , sometimes all night.
He was always my good friend and a GOOD person.
And so good-natured.
When he found himself in the un-enviable position of responsibility for off shift coverage,instead of whining, he named himself "Head Beep".
If a piano was nearby he would pound out requests.
I'm grateful to have known Evans.
