DIXON, Evelyn Maudean, 84, of Louisville, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at Norton Palliative Care.
Born in Elmburg, Shelby County, KY, the former Evelyn Gill was a homemaker, and a member of West Broadway Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Lewis Dixon, Jr; and her son, Richard T. Dixon.
Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Lee Dixon, Julie Dixon Raley and Kathy Dixon Wilding (Ken); 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 4th at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Tuesday at Highlands.
