Evelyn  Kinman (Green)
Evelyn Green Kinman, 83 of Louisville, passed away Monday, August 6, 2018 at Sunrise Senior Living Center surrounded by her loving family. Evelyn was a devoted sweet, and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister. She was cherished by all who knew her. Evelyn was a member of Christ Church United Methodist. She was an owner of Kinman Plumbing for over 60 years. Evelyn served as past president of K.A.P.H.C.C., past president of the 1973 Butler High School P.T.A., member of the Kosair Ladies Oriental Club, Kosair Boat Club, and Kosair Band Ladies Auxiliary.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William A. Kinman Jr.; sister, Mary Margaret (John); sister-in-law, Jane Kinman Whitlow
Evelyn is survived by son William Allen Kinman III (Suzie); daughters, Deborah Owens (Bobby), Kimberly Neuner (Rick), Lauri Knabel (Bob), and Kay Peak (Mike); brothers, Bud (Priscilla), John (Kaye), and Steve Green (Jenny); sisters Betty Cline, Pat Newton, Dee Beckman (Ted), Sharon Eli (Tom), and Diane Lipperd (Llloyd); grandchildren,Courtney Olsofka (John) , Robert "Bobby"Owens Jr. (Maggie)Lili E., William A., and Kathryn A. Kinman, Richard Neuner III ( Heather), Jenna Domeck (Craig), Lauren Ashley, Kristin Elizabeth, and Robby Warren Knabel, Nick and Jenny Peak; great grandchildren, Jackson Neuner, Dalton and Madelyn Domeck, Eden and Emily Olsofka, and Harper and Robert Henry Owens.
Bill and Evelyn raised their family as members of Virginia Avenue United Methodist Church, later transferring their membership to Shivley United Methodist Church. As of 1979 they became members of Christ Church United Methodist.
Visitation Friday, August 10, from 2-8 PM at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
Her funeral will be 11:00 AM Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Christ Church United Methodist, 4614 Brownsboro, Road, Louisville, KY. 40207 with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery.
