EVERETT L. COLEMAN, 88, of Louisville, died on Aug. 31, 2022 at his home.

Born in Louisville to the late T.C. and Gertrude Coleman, he was a U.S Army veteran and retired in sales
and management from Rodes Mens Store, where he was a member of the President’s Club. He was also
a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Sherley Orr Coleman.
Everett is survived by numerous loving nieces & nephews.

His funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331
Taylorsville Rd., with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of
service at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Highlands.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Mark’s UMC or the donor’s charity of choice.
