Obituary for Fred A. Adams

Fred A. Adams, 74, of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022.

Fred grew up in Cincinnati and was a big baseball lover and Reds fan. Fred was with 1/7 CAV in Vietnam where he saw intense combat. He was a proud US Army Veteran during the Vietnam War. After the war he had some struggles in life, but he met the love of his life Mary 20 years ago and they had many adventures and comical moments together. Fred was also a lover of the American West and Western movies. More importantly he loved his wife, children and his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Adams and Ruby Beagle; his oldest brother, Richard Lee who was killed in Vietnam in 1967, his other brothers, Jimmy and Chuck and his sisters, Kathy and Sandy.

He is survived by his loving wife Mary, his loving daughters, Angie and Krista (Brian), grandchildren, Carson, Olivia and Isaac, his brother, Timmy and his sisters, Sheila, Donna, Debbie, Charlene, Becky and Rhonda.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 9th from 10am -1pm at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. His funeral service will be at 1pm at the funeral home with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery with Military Honors.
