Gaila A Taylor, 56, died Friday February 24, 2017 at home after losing her short but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Gaila was a clinical social worker who touched many lives throughout her career. Most recently she proudly served our Veterans at the VA hospital.
She has positively impacted thousands of lives, both directly and indirectly, like ripples in a lake. Many will miss her honesty and true friendship. Gaila was one of a kind and a warrior to the end.
She was preceded in death by her brother and life-long best friend Donald A. Taylor, Sr.
Left to carry on her legacy is her wife of 34 years Barbara Kaminer; sons Lon Kaminer and Jeff Warner; the light of her life grandson Joshua; brothers, David Taylor (Susan), Danny Taylor, Dennis Taylor (Debra); sister Glenda Nale (David); many nieces, nephews and cousins, and a vast group of friends.
Her visitation will be from 2:30-6:30 pm Monday, February 27, 2017 with funeral service beginning at 6:30 pm, all at at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
