CONSTANTINE, Gayle Humphrey, 81, of Louisville, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2014 at her home.

Born in Louisville, the former Gayle Unterreiner was a member of Southeast Christian Church, Women’s Club of St. Matthews, Embroidery Guild, and a former member of Koi and Goldfish Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. Constantine, Jr.; daughter, Debra Humphrey Downing; and step-son, Frank D. Constantine.

Gayle is survived by her children, Herman W. Humphrey (Sherri) and Ronald W. Humphrey; step-children, Iva Humphrey, Cloris Humphrey Hinrich, Deborah Lampe, Pam Gural, Tina Forsting, Richard J. Constantine III and Gregory M. Constantine; 26 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

A memorial visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Thursday, June 26 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to Southeast Christian Church (Closerwalk Bible class) in remembrances of Debra Humphrey Downing and Frank D. Constantine.
