Geraldine Maier, age 83, of Louisville, died on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at her home, surrounded by close family.
Born in Louisville to the late Chester and Evelyn (Westphal) Keene, she was a graduate of the University of Louisville and worked in the sorting room at the US Postal Service.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by a daughter, Phyllis Gutterman.
Geraldine is survived by her husband of 32 years, Victor Maier; her children, Chet Allen (Lisa), Alan Maier, Tim Maier (Amanda), and Julie Toler; sisters, Linda, Pat, Jackie, and Sherree; sister-in-law, Susie Robinson (Leroy); grandchildren, Amanda, Taylor, Ashley, Zoe, Noah, Jay, Hailee, Ally, Emma, and Sarah; great-grandchildren, Luke, Levi, and Joseph; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be at 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the 6 p.m. service time Sunday at Highlands.
