Obituary for Gloria Chadwell (Cooper)
Chadwell, Gloria Hammond (Cooper), 79, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021.
Gloria was a graduate of Manual High School and Western Kentucky University. She was a former member of Salem United Church of Christ, and a current member of Southeast Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn Marie Hammond and Hersa Malachi Cooper; daughter, Kerrey C. Chadwell; brother, Kenneth Cooper; sister, Evelyn Jane Cooper; and grandson, Adrian Carter.
Gloria is survived by her husband of 59 years, Arla Lionel “Sonny” Chadwell, Jr.; children, Kelley Kennedy (Mark), Krissey Carter (Kevin Maurer), Kacey Chadwell-Green (Rusty); and Kenneth Chadwell (Tina); 8 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
Her visitation will be Monday, February 22nd, 2021, 2 pm - 7 pm, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
Her service will be held at 1 pm Tuesday at the funeral home, followed by burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
