Obituary for Gloria Passafiume
Gloria Gaye Passafiume, 79, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021.
Gloria, born in Casey Co., KY, loved her family, especially engaging with her grand and great-grandchildren. As a devoted volunteer, she and her husband A.J. enjoyed numerous roles within Kosair Charities and Kosair Shrine Temple.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Lola Belle and Carlisle Lanham; and sister, Sheila Shawler (Jim).
She is survived by her husband, Anthony Joseph Passafiume, Jr.; children, Rodney Martin, Greg Martin, Jeff Hignite (Jennifer), Tonya Rakowski (Dan), Georgia Lynn Wurfel (Mike), Cindy Richards (Greg), Kim Thomas (Steve) and Anthony Passafiume III; 17 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Gloria’s funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 7 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Her service will be available on Highlands Funeral Home Facebook Live. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until time of service.
