Obituary for Glynda Mercer
MERCER, GLYNDA BARBEE, 86, of Louisville, passed away Monday, April 12, 2010 at Baptist Hospital East.
A native of Rochester, KY, she was a member of Southeast Christian Church and the Order of Southern Star, Suburban Lodge.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Kermit Mercer.
She is survived by her sons, Tom Mercer (Barbara) and Tim Mercer; grandchildren, Joshua Mercer, Hayley Stoebner (Grant) and Tyler Mercer.
Her graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. CST, Friday, April 16, 2010 in Rochester Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Salvation Army
