Grainger Charles Lott

August 30, 1938 - January 31, 2022

Grainger C. Lott, 83 passed away peacefully at his home in the arms of his loving wife on January 31, 2022. He is predeceased by his father, Grainger Lott, mother Bernadine McGill, stepfather Edward McGill and sister Patricia Layman (Ed).

Grainger is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years Judith Rose Lott, sons Timothy Lott (Michelle Hohmann), John Lott (Dottie), Andrew Lott & Michael Lott. Granddaughters, Molly Lott & Kathryn Lott. Sister, Peggy Thompson (Charles) and brother Edward McGill (Sandy) and several nieces and nephews.

He graduated from St. Xavier High School in 1956 and served in the KY Air National Guard 123rd Sq.
He worked 14 years as a Lithographer at Fetter Printing Company before becoming an independent Supply Dealer of office management equipment for 23 years then 20 years with Miller Transportation Company.

Grainger’s focus in life was his family, and the genuine love he and Judy had between them for over 65 years was undeniable - it was truly something extraordinary. He was an exemplary husband, father and grandfather and his love will live on in those who follow him.

There will be no visitation. A celebration of life Mass will be held at the Epiphany Catholic Church, 914 Old Harrods Creek Road in Anchorage on Saturday, February 5th at 11am with small reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of a donation to either Mass of the Air or the LGBTQ community via The Louisville Pride Foundation.
