Obituary for Henry J Willenbrink

WILLENBRINK, HENRY J. "BILL," 85, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2010 at his home.
Born in Louisville, Bill was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, having served as crew chief for a CG4A Glider. He was a Champion for Children in the Jefferson County Public Schools, volunteered for the Talent Center, was a member of League of Kentucky Sportsman, the NRA and was an avid fisherman and outdoor conservationist.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Rita.
He is survived by his son, Henry J. "Hank" Willenbrink III (Karil); his daughter, Leslie Ann Sullivan (Scott); and grandchildren, Karen Anne Willenbrink and Carl and Matthew Sullivan.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. Monday at Highlands.
