KEESEE, Herbert, 88, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Jefferson Manor. He was a co-owner of Keesee Real Estate Company. He was a member of the Abraham Lodge #8, 32nd F&A.M., Kosair Shrine and is an Army veteran. He served in WWII in the South Pacific and in the Battle of Okinawa. He was also a member of Southeast Christian Church. Herbert is survived by his wife, Geneva Keesee; son H. Lee Keesee (Sandra); daughters, Kellie Graham (Geoff) of Nazareth, PA and Rebecca Blasher (Gary); sisters, Catherine Jaggers and Erlene Allen; 9 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. His funeral service will be on Monday, June 4 at 1:00 p.m. at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1-9 p.m. and Monday 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Highlands. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Kosair Children’s Hospital.
