JACOBS, Horace J., 89, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2010at Raulerson Hospital, Okeechobee, FL. Born August 29, 1920, he was a WWII Veteran, honorably discharged from the United States Navy, and a retiree of the U.S. Postal Service. He loved to travel, loved life, and enjoyed it to the fullest. He is survived by his wife, Lois Jacobs; three children, Joanie Jacobs Hills (Harry), of Kingman, AZ, Philip Jacobs (Pat Brody), Louisville, KY, and Robin Jacobs, Birmingham, AL; three grandchildren, Tim Hills, Prescott, AZ, Hollie Hills Seale, Phoenix, AZ, and Jamie Roemek, Birmingham, AL; and six great-grandchildren. A memorial service and visitation will be held from 1:30-4 pm Saturday, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
