Obituary for Irving O'Neal "Neal" Hare
O'Neal "Neal" Hare, 86, of Jeffersontown, KY died May 5, 2018 at home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ruth and daughter, Susie.
He served in the Korean War, was a Lions Club member and owned his own building and remodeling company, O'Neal Hare Builder, Inc.
Survived by his daughters, Kim Frederick and husband Fred, Trish Dawson, a very special family friend, Gerry Riffe, 5 granddaughters, 7 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation and Funeral service will be held at Highlands Funeral Home located at 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, KY 40205, with burial at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 3:00pm - 8:00pm and Funeral Service Friday, May 11, 2018 at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Andrew United Church of Christ, St. Andrew Funds, located at 2608 Browns Lane Louisville, KY 40220, where Neal was a founding member.
